Our Vulkem Caulking is specifically designed for swimming pool deck expansion joints. These joints should be filled to maintain a continuous surface to keep your deck safe from freezing water and potential damage, yet allow for movement as the ground shifts with moisture content and temperature fluctuations. Vulkem joint caulking is formulated using one part polyurethane for extraordinary adhesion, cohesion, abrasion, and tear-resistance. Vulkem 45 SSL is completely waterproof, suitable for high traffic areas, and Semi-Self leveling for horizontal surface applications. Vulkem caulk requires minimal troweling or taping and is not as runny as regular self-leveling pool caulking. Best of all, Vulkem 45 SSL cures within 24 hours to a great finishing look.
