Vinyl pools often need a number of pool liner parts and accessories when replacing a pool liner. Our most popular liner parts include new pool skimmers or replacement skimmer gaskets, as well as pool cove for a soft transition from floor to wall and liner coping strips to secure overlap liners. Using the right vinyl liner installation supplies can improve the lifespan of your pool liner and therefore the lifespan of your pool.

One such fantastic investment is a liner pad to go under the liner, and a step pad, to go under a pool step. Pool pads like our Liner Shield are made from a super tough geotextile, to protect the liner from rough floor, reduce heel divots and foot marks on a sand bottom, and prevent problems with nutgrass and other weeds. Pool wall foam such as our pool wall foam pad makes your pool walls softer and your liner less prone to punctures, and provides a small insulation benefit.

When replacing a pool liner be sure to also install new vinyl pool gaskets - skimmer gaskets, drain gaskets, wall return gaskets, pool light gaskets, and pool step seal (see above) - all important pool liner supplies to prevent leaking problems. It is also recommended to install new plastic faceplates and rings as well, as they warp and weaken with age. We also have skimmer screw sets if you have lost one; as you must use all screws to seal the skimmer faceplate properly.
