The Poolguard DAPT-WT Door Alarm is equipped with an adult pass-through feature that allows adults to go through the door without the alarm sounding. The Pool Door Alarm will sound immediately when a child opens the door, and the alarm will continue to sound until an adult comes to the door. If a child goes through the doorway and closes the door, the alarm will sound for 5 minutes and then automatically reset. The Poolguard DAPT-WT Door Alarm is always on and uses one 9-volt battery (not included) which lasts around 6 months. The Door Alarm features a low battery indicator that will audibly alert when the battery power is getting too low.
