PATCH KIT

SO FAR SO GOOD.

No good underwater

Adhesive causes patch to curl up instantly - patch then pulls away from liner. I was unable to get decent adhesion anywhere that deep enough that I couldnt hold it down. If I had scuba gear I wouldnt have had a problem. I will never attempt to use underwater ever again. Works great on vinyl pool toys and air mattresses where the initial bonding can be controlled.

Pros:

Inexpensive. Plenty of patch material and adhesive - kit should last several years if patching small holes on dry items.

Expectations:

Arrival as per InTheSwim's normal, shipping was accurate and fast. I found the kit worthless for repairs underwater.

When the glue is applied

When the glue is applied the clear liner vinyl patch it becomes so soft and stretchy that it is impossible to use. I would not recommend this product.
