The Hayward AQL-CHEM Sense and Dispense is an automation device that works in conjunction with Aqua Rite Pro or Pro Logic salt chlorination systems to maintain ORP and pH levels in swimming pools. Using preprogrammed intelligence, it continuously tests pool water by sampling pH and sanitizer activity before adjusting chemical feeding based on your pool's needs.
The Sense and Dispense's professional grade ORP probe samples water directly from your pool filtration system, sending signals to the salt chlorinator that depicts oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) as a way to determine water quality. Once the water quality of your pool is measured, the ORP probe instructs the Aqua Rite or Aqua Pro chlorinator to dispense a specific amount of pure chlorine, keeping your pool appropriately sanitized at all times. A pH probe is also included, and is designed to sample water and determine acidity levels.
The Hayward Sense and Dispense includes the Sense and Dispense system, an ORP probe, a pH probe, a probe cell, a Pro Logic Relay, pH dispense pigtails, a 15' cord and all the necessary tubing, tubing connectors, and mounting hardware for installation.
Please note: The Hayward Sense and Dispense is designed to work with the Aqua Rite Pro and Pro Logic systems. Its probes will detect pH levels, however, in order to self-regulate pH levels, the Hayward Sense and Dispense pH Dispense 120V Solenoid Valve for CO2 - AQL-CHEM2 OR the Hayward Sense and Dispense pH Dispense, 240V Solenoid Valve for CO2 - AQL-CHEM2-240 must also be purchased. It plugs directly into the pH dispense pigtails located on the Hayward Sense and Dispense and will distribute the appropriate amount of chemicals based on your pool's demand.
